The residence, in Gulfstream Ocean subdivision, was built in 1948, and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms in 6,741 square feet of living area. The lot has 100 feet of direct ocean access. 
The seller was Yaka Florida LLC, whose manager is Francis Mulliez. New owners are John and Marjorie McGraw. 
Previous sales for this property include one in February 2005 for $6.5 million and another one in August 1999 for $3.4 million. Candace Friis of Corcoran Group brokered the deal.

Forkosh has primarily constructed buildings in Manhattan, but has started to build in Miami Beach as well, including Spiaggia Ocean Residences in the Surfside/Bal Harbour area.
